I work closely with Dr. John M Wright. I would remove sutures and go through patient education about Total Knees, and Totals Hips and Total Shoulders. I showed empathy and compassion to the patient as I was working with them. I also assisted with other things such as Wound checks and injections regarding the knees, hips, and shoulders. I also work with Dr. Dennis McGowan, rooming patients and grabbing vitals. Doing everything from undressing wounds, to redressing wounds, as well as assisting patients to restrooms and getting dressed. Taking time and consideration. I also document the injections that were administered and order X-rays and am currently learning how to order CT scans and more. I draw up medications such as Lidocaine, Marcaine and Depomedrol.
