Leading the general accounting team by supervising and orientating the accurate processing of general ledger transactions together with the people from all Latin American countries, as well as the application of best practices to increase efficiency and productivity.

Additionally, deliver monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis the account reporting ensuring a transparent process. Performing internal customer reviews regularly to set up action plans for month-end activities and providing to the stakeholders accurate and quality information.

• Leading the migration of accounting processes in Latam, aligning systems to SAP Hana.
• Leading the standardization of Colombia's processes after the migration to S4hana, first phase in the ERP migration.
• Working with the harmonization of processes according to Hitachi's internal control guidelines, leaving behind practices alien to the vision of the new company.
• Creating a customer satisfaction orientated culture on the team. It was possible to line the global guidelines from internal controls to the local reality of each country.
• Leading the migration and stabilization of the LATAM general accounting operation during the carve out of PG – ABB, fulfilling the timetable with a reduced group.
• Working the implementation of Cadency, platform to deliver reconciliations, having efficiency of 100% on time, currently presenting strategies to have more efficient and complete information that will allow us to detect deviations more easily.
• Developing new processes and platforms for the Manual journal entries postings.
• Promoting the usage of SAP and SharePoint for these processes instead of Lotus notes, transferring 941,874.00 KUSD per year from one system to another just considering Brazil.
• Supporting the implementation of the Close task tool, with an increase in the efficiency the tool of 40% since the implementation.
• Implementing the TOAD project for the 7 Latin American countries, managing strategies together with the Front Office to obtain the lowest impact on the business numbers

Perform month-end closing activities for General Ledger, monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, calculation and recording monthly journal entries, as well as calculation and recording of accruals for Brazil, participating in special projects as supporting the GA department and internal control area.

• Participate in the migration of processes from Brazil to the HUB, supporting the creation of the GBS as an organization.
• Documenting and stabilizing on site (Brazil) the operation to do a knowledge transfer process to the new HUB members, reducing the language limitations.
• Migrating the processes from the local country to the hub contributing to a cost reduction and standardization of the entire financial operation.
• Created strategies to mitigate the lessen resistance from the original process (Brazil) to the new non-local processes (SLP).
