I am one of a few students that is on the rowing team's social media committee. The small group works together alongside an assistant coach. This role has taught me the importance of deadlines, graphic design, and collaboration of others from a marketing standpoint.

• Creates captions for posts by gathering results from the weekend including every athlete in attendance at that regatta.
• Gathers photos taken over the weekend by the team's photographer (David Shumanis - my dad) for Instagram posts.
• Works with Canva for graphic design for any post that shares race weekend lineups and for race updates that will be posted on the Instagram story.

• Assisted with young kids ages 4 1/2 to 13 years old for over 80 hours during summer camp.

• Used strong interpersonal communication skills to convey information to other co-workers/ volunteers and kids.
