• 8-bed Free-standing Emergency Room where my duties included: providing emergency and non-emergency patient care, obtain blood draws, perform IV punctures, perform EKG’s, collect and label all lab specimens & urine samples in sterile containers as well as serve as a Lab tech and run a multitude of tests, obtain patient vitals: Blood pressure, Pulse, Respiratory Rate, SpO2, Temperature, wound cleaning and bandaging, restock all Emergency Room supplies, environmental services within the entire ER. Work with EPower software for patient charting.
• Reason for leaving: Left to pursue 911 Dispatch opportunities.

• Dispatcher(2004-2026) for a six-branch hospital EMS system. Duties include: dispatching 13 Emergency units for hospital transfers, dispatching 13-17 Emergency Medical Units(ambulances) to 911 calls for 4 county regions as well as mutual aid 911 calls for adjoining counties, supervising our EMS Air Medical helicopter for our system and other incoming aircrafts, answering multi-lined telephone calls, entering patient information into Right CAD system, filing paperwork, communicating with 911 callers and obtaining information to dispatch medical assistance to their location, reading of maps and key map books, maintaining a daily schedule of Transfers and ensuring accurate arrival time to transport. Delivering Emergency Medical Dispatch protocol instructions to 911 callers in emergency situations.
• Dispatch Supervisor (2014-2024): All above job duties in addition to the responsibilities of Scheduling of entire dispatch department, training all newly hired dispatchers in our department, extracting statistical data for the EMS director and county officials for 911 calls and implementing data into Microsoft Excel Spreadsheets, creating and maintaining of Dispatch policies, managing all special event ambulance standby’s, conduct all disciplinary actions and performing employee evaluations, in conjunction with any other administrative duties as the director deemed necessary. • Dispatch for Police Department/Sheriff’s Department officers, multiple Volunteer Fire Departments and 4 ambulances with 2 different EMS agencies. Duties include: Answering multi-lined telephones for emergency and non-emergency situations, 911 calls for police, fire and EMS, TCIC/NCIC system, wrecker rotations, requesting air medical and dispatching crews to set up landing zones, entering data into E Force CAD system, filing paperwork, communicating with 911 callers and obtaining information to dispatch the appropriate apparatus to their location, reading of maps and computerized 911 mapping system, operating jail door system for jailers/officers.
• Reason for leaving: Had a full-time job at the same time and was not able to commit enough hours to this position.

• Hospital/911 based ambulance service that provides emergency and non-emergency transport of patients, along with providing emergency and non-emergency medical care. Duties include: taking vital signs, monitoring patients, providing oxygen as needed, packaging of trauma patients related to 911 calls, training EMT students during their clinical portion of class(student riders), documenting all patient findings and diagnosis’ on computer based reports, activating lights and sirens while driving ambulance en route to 911 calls, driving patients during transfers between hospitals, facilities or their residence, reading maps, sanitizing and restocking of ambulance supplies required by The Department of State Health Services, checking and maintaining of vehicle operations.
• Reason for leaving: Left to pursue other 911 Dispatching opportunities.

• 5-bed Emergency Room where my duties include: obtained blood draws, provided emergency and non-emergency patient care, registered patients, assisted the dr. and/or nurse in any procedures (sutures, catheter placements, staples, CPR), code team, performed EKG’s, labeled all lab specimens & urine samples in sterile containers, discharge vitals and instructions given to patients, wound cleaning and bandaging, and restocked all Emergency Room supplies.
• Reason for leaving: Promoted to Dispatcher Supervisor full-time.

• Answered phones, took non-emergency complaints, and relayed information to Police and Fire Dispatchers.
• Reason for leaving: Strived to keep part-time employment with CHI St. Joseph Health EMS, however the Police Department was reluctant with permitting their employees to have a secondary job.

• Transfer based service that provided non-emergency transfers for patients needing dialysis, Dr. office appointments, nursing home transports. Duties included: took vital signs, monitored patients, provided oxygen as needed, documented all patient findings and diagnosis on hand-written reports, drove patients during transfers between hospitals, read maps, sanitized, and restocked ambulance with needed supplies required by The Department of State Health Services, checked and maintained all vehicle operations.
• Reason for leaving: Company closed down in this location.

• Duties included: assisted customers with purchases, used a computer-based cash register, cooked using a grill, fryers and oven, operated a deli slicer, stocked all supplies, groceries and coolers. Handled end-of-night reports and paperwork to account for all credit and cash purchases.
• Reason for leaving: Relocated to another town to pursue EMT education.

• Duties included: assisted patrons during their evening of dining, delivered food and drinks, used cash register, stocked tables, and unloaded grocery deliveries.
• Reason for leaving: Business closed down.
