Accomplishments

Completed and passed an 80-hour, hands-on, training course over 10 weeks. This course gave insight into the practices and skills needed to become a crime scene investigator. Every Saturday from 8-5, I indulged in lectures, activities, demonstrations, and tests in the field of CSI. In this course, I was introduced to fingerprints/comparisons, biological/trace evidence, impression evidence, photography, firearms, death investigations, courtroom testimonies, report writing, packaging and handling of evidence, sketching, etc. This course was carried out by the California State Long Beach Center for Criminal Justice Research and Training.

I am a founding member of the Criminal Justice Club at Chaffey College, where I uphold the position of Secretary. In this club, we connect with the community and explore all parts of the Criminal Justice System.

I was awarded Super Intendant Honor Roll, Cum Laude, and graduated top 4% in my district upon my high school graduation.
