  • Orchestrated data management for phase 2 multi-centered clinical trial of ACH-0144471 drug in patients with Paroxysmal Nocturnal Hemoglobinuria (PNH) by collaborating with patient care teams, clinical study sponsors and third party medical monitors. Successfully managed the Johns Hopkins site by conducting data mining from electronic medical records, managing electronic data capture in RAVE electronic data capture (EDC) systems, collaborating with a team of medical monitors from InSeption Group (https://inseptiongroup.com) to maintain patient eligibility, follow up, safety, adherence and outcomes. Managed the trial workflow redesign during COVID pandemic to maintain patient safety and study compliance.
  • Primary data manager of The International PNH Registry (https://pnhregistry.com) which was established in 2012 to gather comprehensive data on the natural history of Paroxysmal Nocturnal Hemoglobinurea and to evaluate the clinical symptoms and outcomes of the disease in order to better understand progression and variability of the disease on a global scale. Streamlined processes to gather and report non-interventional observational data in reliable form. Collaborated with medical monitors to troubleshoot all data reporting queries.
  • Primary database manager for Globin Regional Data and Discovery (GRNDaD) registry (https://grndad.org/). Supervised and supported 15 sites across United States in effectively capturing and reporting prospective data on more than 2000 sickle cell disease patients. After inheriting the project in 2019, successfully steered all operational roadblocks by building a robust data capture system within REDCap. Designed study specific paper Case Report Forms (CRFs), ensuring consistency with study protocol. Established intuitive data capture instruments in REDCap to capture the not only the disease specific data but also COVID-19 information among the sickle cell anemia patients in the country.
  • Spearheaded the process of designing, coding, building and implementing 11 electronic data capture systems in REDCap for single-site research studies on Thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura, Sickle cell disease, Antiphospholipid disease, Systemic lupus erythematosus and Idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura conducted under division of Hematology, JHU. Collaborated with principal investigators to create all data management and validation plans.
  • Primary analyst for the Johns Hopkins Sickle Cell-Infusion Clinic quality improvement initiative. Used operational data to report loopholes in patient care and staff performance. Generated evidence-based data-driven visualization dashboards and charts on recurring monthly basis. This process involved data mining and cleaning exercises, analyses and presenting reports to stakeholders of the clinic.
  • Successfully worked as primary analyst for 8 manuscripts published in peer reviewed journals.
