Working as an Assistant was an incredibly rewarding experience. My responsibilities were diverse,ranging from managing her busy schedule to providing hands-on help around her house. I took care of scheduling her doctor's appointments, ensuring she never missed an important check-up, and I also coordinated her social calendar, making sure she could attend all the events she enjoyed. Physically, I assisted her with tasks like moving furniture, organizing her living space, and ensuring her home was comfortable and functional. I also managed her communication, handling phone calls and emails on her behalf, which saved her a lot of time and effort. One of the most challenging but satisfying aspects of my role was helping her navigate new technology. I showed her how to install her new TV, download and use apps, and generally set the hang of her phone, which she initially found quite daunting. Seeing her gain confidence and independence with these devices was truly fulfilling. Ultimately, my goal was to make her life easier, more enjoyable, and less stressful, and I believe I succeeded in doing so.

Being a nanny is so much more than just a job to me; it's about building connections with these amazing kids and making a positive impact on their lives. One of my favorite parts is helping them with their homework. I love seeing their faces light up when they finally understand a tricky concept, and I get to celebrate their little victories with them. I also help them navigate the digital world, showing them how to use their iPad for educational games and creative projects, But beyond the academic and technical stuff, it's really about making them smile. Whether it's through silly jokes, fun activities, or just being there to listen, I try to create a nurturing and joyful environment where they feel safe, loved, and happy. Knowing that I can contribute to their well being and bring a little sunshine into their day is what makes being a nanny so fulfilling.

During the pandemic, what started as a simple hobby quickly blossomed into a full fledged passion for me. Baking became my creative outlet, a way to bring joy to others during a challenging time. As a self employed baker, I poured my heart into every creation, experimenting with new recipes and mastering various techniques. There's nothing quite like seeing the smiles on people's faces when they taste something I've made, and that's what fuels my love for baking. It's more than just a job; it's a way to spread happiness, one delicious treat at a time.
