I started off as a direct care counselor at group homes. Assisted with meal preparation, daily activities, bathing, transporting to and from program, transporting to appointments, grocery shopping, assisting around bed time, making sure home is clean and tidy, assisting with laundry and most importantly documenting on daily activities and completing their goals for the day. I ended at a program assisted with daily activities helping them meet their goals for the day, lunch preparation, feeding and documentation.
