I worked at Crossroads Nursing Home for 4 months as a part-time CNA. I was required to enhance patient satisfaction by providing compassionate and attentive care, reduce patient stress levels through effective communication and active listening skills, assist patients with daily living activities, promote independence and dignity, provide emotional support for patients during challenging times, foster a positive healing environment, and Implement fall prevention measures by identifying high-risk patients and maintaining clutter-free environments around bedsides. I switched jobs in May because I was offered a better job with cleaner environments to protect my health.

I currently work at Cedarhurst Assistive Living as a part time employee. They currently have two units at this facility, memory care and assistive living, which both have their limitations. In memory care, Im required to bath, groom, feed, and transfer residents. I also prevent bedsores by regularly repositioning patients and implementing proper wound care techniques, provide emotional support for patients during challenging times, foster a positive healing environment, Implement fall prevention measures by identifying high-risk patients and maintaining clutter-free environments around bedsides. When im with the assistive living residents im required to

assist residents with daily living activities promoting independence and dignity, ensure prompt response to call lights, addressing patient needs in a timely manner, and bath/groom if needed.
