Work History
Part-time framer / cashier
Hobby Lobby
Pflugerville
08.2025 - 01.2026
I worked as both a Framer and a Cashier at Hobby Lobby, where I handled detailed manual transactions, helped customers, and did a lot of accurate data entry throughout the day. In the Frame Shop, I placed and tracked custom orders using the online system as well as a filing system that I set up and kept organized myself. I measured materials, put frames together, and explained different framing options in a way that made things easy for customers to understand. I provided my professional opinions to customers about what frame and mat they should choose along with what glass. I spent a good amount of time on the phone, giving updates on orders, answering questions, and making sure people got the information they needed. This job helped me build strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills that would transfer well to a receptionist role.
Full-time Nanny
Round Rock, TX
05.2024 - 07.2025
I cared for two children (ages 3 and 7) for 8–10 hours a day for five days each week. My responsibilities included keeping them safe and entertained, preparing meals, helping with restroom needs, enforcing household rules, and keeping the house cleaned. I also cared for the family’s large dog, feeding, training, grooming, exercising, and kennel-training them. I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life and have had four of my own, so I’m very comfortable handling pets of all sizes and personalities. This job taught me to be dependable and how to easily multi-task.
Store Associate
American Eagle
Lakeline Mall, TX
04.2023 - 03.2024
During my time at American Eagle, I worked as a Store Associate. This is where I first learned how to connect with customers, handle questions, and solve problems quickly and calmly. I learned to work closely with a team to keep things running smoothly, even during busy or stressful times. I also learned to stay positive, patient, and professional no matter the situation. These experiences helped me build my strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.
