Dedicated Shift Captain Firefighter/Paramedic offering 23 years of experience. Expertise in structural fires, ems, technical rescue, vehicle extrication and dispatch operations. I attended Stark State College and earned my Firefighter 1 & 2 certificates. I then graduated in 2003 from Aultman Paramedic program first in my class, with a 91.9 G.P.A. I have since then advanced my knowledge in incident command and management and technical rescue through various certified trainings. I have worked in our dispatch center (CENCOM) so I have a firm understanding of how our dispatch center operates. I have been a participant in the Firefighter Combat Challenge since 2007 with achieving National Champion in 2012 and 2016 and also earning my way into the Firefighter Combat Challenge Lions Den in 2012. I currently am employed also at Stark State College as a Fire Instructor and Marathon Petroleum Corporation as a Fire/Medic where I help with trainings and day to day fire department operations.
