School-based Teacher of the Year at Mabel Pendleton Elementary and Carl E. Gilbert Elementry

I was recognized multiple times as an educator who possessed the skills both in the classroom and the school at-large by staff to be the school Teacher of theYear. I accepted this nomination two out of 8 times in my career. These nominations placed me in a group to be selected as District Teacher of the Year (TOY). Though I was not selected for this title, I represented my schools, Pendleton and Gilbert, throughout the next school year as their TOY.
