  • Firm specialized in representation of pharmaceutical and medical device companies in products liability litigation
  • At the time of my departure, to start Apex Coolers, our firm had grown to 25 lawyers with offices in Chicago, Dallas and Santa Monica
  • I led team that negotiated, developed and implemented National Settlement Programs, primarily coordinated in MDLs
  • Notably, I was the lead in the development and implementation of the Vioxx Litigation, which, at the time, was the largest settlement in US history$5 billion; 50,000 claimants; commenced and concluded in less than 2 years
  • Also, I was firm lead in the Baycol Litigation Settlement Program and negotiated the settlement of more than 1,000 cases through both direct negotiations as well as mediation.

  • This business is currently for sale and under an executed Letter of Intent.
