Highly motivated teenager, looking for his first job in order to start saving for a car.
I know I don't have any real working experience yet but I am looking for an opportunity to show that I have strong work ethic. I am good at following instructions and working with people.
I have worked doing chores at home, helping my grandparents and uncles with various tasks when they need an extra hand and I am also happy to help people and hopefully learn something new.
I volunteered packing boxes for families in need several times a year. I also volunteered planting produce as well as picking corn at the end of the season for the Food Pantry. Sometimes I did this with the Cub Scouts and sometimes with my family.
When I was with the Cub Scouts, we had to do a lot of fundraising. We sold popcorn and pepperoni sticks at local Fred Meyer stores. We had to respectfully interact with customers, promote our products and process payments.
We also collected Christmas trees after Christmas every year. At the beginning of the season we would drop flyers off door to door. If the homeowners asked us to come back and get their trees, we would come by to collect the tree and the donation.
With the Cub Scouts we also did Tree Planting in various green areas to benefit the community. This was also done through donations we received.
The reason I am looking for work is because I want to be able to save up to buy my first car. I am hoping to be able to do that by sometime next year.
