After stops in sports, journalism, and livestream sales, I'm looking in my next role for some kind of cross section of the three. I've had that in my time at Hobby Box, where I am trusted as the daytime lead for sports, sales, and customer retention, hosting live streams daily. Now, I'm hoping to incorporate the content creation, research, and sourcing skills I learned as an Associate Editor at the Queens Chronicle, my intuitive knowledge of the game of baseball, and the sales and negotiating tactics I've honed at Hobby Box to pursue a permanent role in sports, media, or both. In the past year, I've interviewed for baseball operations positions with the New York Yankees and Seattle Mariners and wrote the bulk of a 12,000 word power ranking of Queens political players for City & State NY. I'm looking forward to my next step.

• City and State NY: Wrote about 90 of the entries in the 2025 Queens Power 100, ranking the most influential political figures in the borough
• Baseball Innovation: Using Statcast bat tracking data, I have quantified a skill called “selective aggression” in baseball, which is when the hitter waits for a strike and when he does get a pitch to hit, he puts his best swing on it. The stat has a moderate direct relationship with xwOBA over a full 2024 season sample (.22 r-squared, min. 1000 pitches seen) and a 2+ month sample at the start of 2025 (.25 r-squared, min. 500 pitches seen through 6/13/25)
• Finance Writing: Under the tutelage of Karen Murray, contributed to biography rewrites for Virtus Investment Partners affiliates and a round of edits on esteemed financial services provider, speaker, and writer Nick Murray’s latest edition of his book for investors, Simple Wealth Inevitable Wealth
• Golf Content: Founder and co-editor of Viktor Hovland Tracker (@HoviTracker on Twitter), where my brother and I have amassed more than 3.4k followers from tweeting shot-by-shot updates and commentary about the PGA Tour golfer
