• Assist in the examination and treatment of patients, under the direction of a physician
• Interview patients, measures vital signs, and records information on patients' charts
• Draw and collect blood samples
• Give injections, treatments and perform routine lab tests
• Assist in patient care activities such as dressing changes and leg wraps
• Prepare treatment room for examination of patient
• Assist with physical examination by preparing supplies and handing instruments
• Provide patients with basic instruction and information regarding examination procedures
• Clean and sterilize medical instruments
• Order and stock inventories supplies, and assist in performing clerical duties
• Communicate with department team, nursing and physician staff as needed
• Participate in quality and safety improvement activities
• Document all equipment issues and report to managing staff
• Assist in MOHS surgery and cosmetic procedures

• Perform vitals/ vision screenings/ hearing screenings
• Triage patients

• Fax and scan documents to appropriate destination
• Perform blood draws and nasal/throat swabs
• Prepare rooms for procedures
• Document in EMR/ECW system
• Perform ear piercings
• Collect specimens and perform necessary follow up lab work per physician orders
• Send lab work specimens to independent labs for analysis

• Provide customer service to students and staff addressing inquiries and concerns
• Greet incoming office visitors, answer questions, and direct individuals to appropriate office locations
• Enhance office efficiency by organizing and maintaining files, records, and resources
• Help with administrative support by managing incoming calls, coordinating files, and sorting mail

• Perform clerical tasks such as photocopying, scanning documents efficiently while maintaining confidentiality when necessary
• Communicate effectively with faculty and staff while accepting critiques and suggestions for areas of improvement

• Greet, welcome, and discharge patients/set patient appointments

• Perform vital signs /EKGs/vision and hearing test/other related lab work

• Prepare rooms and assist physicians for examinations following COVID-19 infection control protocols

• Fax & scan documents, file paperwork and update patient information in EMR

• Accurately prepare for procedural exams to reduce patient delays

• Prepare clinic for next day patients to reduce delays

• Cross check paperwork to ensure accuracy of medical records
