Trusted in creating and implementing workouts and training plans for 710th Brigade Support Battalion, 3rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team (3rd IBCT) in Ft. Polk, LA. Trained and qualified at USMA in boxing, hand-to-hand combat, survival swimming, and military movement at the top of my class. Balanced a rigorous academic and physical load while in college. Consistently met standards for the army's fitness test for 5 years and completed all prerequisites for Basic Officer Leader Course (BOLC- A); the final step to commissioning as an officer of the United States Army. Participated in 8 different sports (including tennis; cheerleading; figure iceskating; soccer; softball; dance; gymnastics; and functional fitness) with various leadership experience. Background in theatre and marching; jazz; and concert band. Orchestrated several children programs, lead Sunday School, and served as bookkeeper at Liberty Missionary Baptist Church. Extensive volunteer work (including reading to kids at the Jane B. Holmes Public Library; providing entertainment at retirement homes and the Birmingham Zoo; and cleaning up cemeteries and parks) in dedication to giving back to the community.
