Experience/ Community Engagement

Family Health Centers of San Diego- 4 year supporting covid-19 testing and vaccine sites. Specific to Logan Heights Family Health Centers of San Diego Clinic. I supported in various ways such as logistics, patient flow, screening, and thoroughly walking and explaining our process and procedures for testing. Scheduling patients follow up appointments and working alongside urgent care and administration to provide the best service and patient recovery for our patients.

WESUPPORTYOU volunteer promotora- 10 year volunteer for WESUPPORTYOU a non-profit organization serving cancer patients in southern California. The goal being to improve cancer awareness, screening and survival among underserved, low-income communities and to be the link between healthcare providers, cancer patients and their families and community resources. In efforts of accomplishing this we attend community events give information and engage with community to inform them of the services provided.
