
I rent dumpsters for waste disposal in the Kansas City area. I oversee the scheduling and pick up of the dumpsters on a weekly basis. I also clean new housing developments, inside and outside, as well as removal of all lumber and trash debris. It is my responsibility that these houses are ready to pass inspection by the state.
Responsible for two apartment complexes in the Kansas City area. One complex consists of 254 units, and the other complex consists of 120 units. I oversee collection of all the tenants' rents, all grounds clean up, and all maintenance. To add on, I oversee all the vendors of the properties. I am responsible for all state inspections to ensure that the properties are up to code, including fire department requirements. What's more, I am in charge of all purchase orders. Additionally, I am also responsible for monitoring the tenants' rents for 4 other properties in the state of Indiana.
Promoted from Banquet set-up person to Banquet server, then Banquet Captain. Through time, I was promoted to Assistant Banquet Manager, and later on, I was eventually promoted to Banquet Manager. During my time as Banquet Manager, I was called by corporate to open new hotels and assist with other hotels within the company. As a result of this, I would later be promoted, yet again, to Corporate Banquet Manager.
My responsibilities with the corporation included:
Scheduling, Payroll, Inventory, Ordering, and day-to-day operations. Overseeing the restaurant and kitchen on a daily basis, as well as helping the housekeeping department, the front desk/rooms division were also my responsibility as a Corporate Banquet Manager.
We had two quality assurance inspections each year, which allowed us to keep the Hilton flag raised and waving. This inspection required a total cleaning of over 30,000 square feet of meeting space, as well as ensuring all equipment of the hotel inside and out was in proper working condition.
