- While working together with U.S. Border Patrol, U.S. Customs, and ICE officers, my Armed Facility Guard tasks included close interactions with detainees that are being held in the facility of work. Often, I perform pat-down searches on the detainees when they are entering the facility, which is followed by monitoring and assisting with their well-being. Additionally, I would assist in shackling these individuals for their departure from the facility. While performing these duties, I am required to be vigilant of my surroundings and able to assess the situations that I am placed in with the various detainees.This job position also requires that reports be filled out daily depending on the position assignment.
