Hello, my name is Shaleea Gilmore I am currently enrolled at EPCC and am pursuing a science major in hopes of going to grad school to become a veterinarian. Since a young age I have had an affinity for animal care and development which started at my fathers hay farm. Working closely with my father to raise and nurse our farm animals (none of which were livestock) helped me realize the love I have for animal care. My adaptability and eagerness to learn and succeed have drawn me to seek employment within the Vet Assistant world, since I believe there is no better form of education than hands on experience to go hand in hand with the education in the classroom.
