Additional Information

Building Care Project
December 2017 - September 2022
Served as a Home Advisory Team (HAT) member for our laboratory. As a HAT member I assisted with the design of our lab space in the newest building at Children’s, Forest B (Building Care). I attended regular meetings with our consultants and architecture group to ensure that my teams would have a space that was functional and fit their needs. After several delays due to COVID, Forest B went live on September 10th, 2022.

Epic Conversion Project
February 2019 - October 2020
Served as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for our laboratory’s Send Outs department and helped facilitate our transition to Epic. During the Analysis and Design stages of the project, I reviewed and validated over 2,500 lines of reference ranges and over 200 test builds. In addition to being an SME, I was an Epic Super User and assisted with training and support pre and post go-live. Following Epic go-live, I’ve continued pushing for necessary and meaningful changes to the EHR and our test builds that would positively impact patient care and workflows in the laboratory. I’ve regularly supported departments throughout the laboratory and hospital as an SME; continuously training and helping others with their workflows and/or issues navigating the system.
