Cost Estimator ( Mechanical )
- Practical knowledge of various trades within discipline field of Mechanical construction such as HVAC, Plumbing, Welding, General sheet metal and knowledge within Carpentry trade as well.
- Developing cost estimates for projects providing advisory services within discipline of work ( mechanical).
- preparing fundable estimates to accomplish maintenance, repairs and constructions of mechanical equipment such as HVAC, Fire Suppression, Plumbing, welding, and General Sheet metal scope of work.
- Trained under senior cost estimators and supervisor to be able to apply knowledge in mechanical field of expertise to develop government cost estimates for contract prices,
- Applies various tools through FRED for analytical support to evaluate concerns on projects and provide services to shops for construction projects.
- Communicate with various shops and vendors to be up to date with current market data and cost of construction materials, labor, and supplies to provide sound estimations.
- Able to determine methods of operation and time required to complete scope of work of various trades and compile detailed estimate costs for material, equipment, labor, and mobilization.
- performed various tasks such as merging estimates, amending and making modifications to previous estimates when called upon.
- Knowledgeable and currently holding license to use RS Means Costworks.
- Proficient in Excel spreadsheet, able to deliver a legible chronographic list of material and labor from start to finish for customer and client.
