Adept at enhancing learning for the deaf and hard of hearing in mainstream settings, I leveraged ASL expertise and collaborative teaching at the Maine Educational Center for the Deaf and HH statewide program to tailor education to individual needs and work with my peers building solid educational approaches for educating students in mainstream schools. My approach significantly improved student engagement and success through effective collaboration with parent-teachers and assigned caseload school administration, and I engaged in collaborative practices in various learning environments such as one-to-one, pull out for SDI, and whole class push-in model.
