Began career as an RN in 1999 on a medical surgical unit as a staff nurse at Trinity Mother Frances in Tyler, TX. Transitioned to the night shift charge nurse of the forty-nine bed unit. After approximately a year of medical surgical nursing, Job change to home health nursing for four years with Jordan Health Services. After relocating to another city, accepted a position as charge nurse on a medical surgical unit at Navarro Regional Hospital. Two years later, transferred to the ICU in the same facility where worked for twelve years. Full-time in the ICU for approximately ten years then PRN for 2 years. As a PRN nurse in the ICU, often floated to the medical surgical and postpartum. During the time as PRN, also accepted a PRN position for a tissue and eye donation agency where currently employed. Secured full-time position with the transplant agency for roughly seven years and continue to to be employed full-time.
