I am very dedicated and I have the natural ability to motivate associates as well as lateral management. It has always been my goal to assist the management team and the store in performing at it's highest level possible, and to deliver the best product and service Wal-Mart offers. I not only look to gain people interests and trust, I expect it. Store Manager at Wal-Mart

I started my career at Wal-Mart 20 years ago in Florida. Working in a vary of areas with the company starting as Cashier, Customer Service, Customer Service Manager then Department Manager. In 2008 I was promoted into the management program and became an Assistant Manager. In 2011 I moved to Atlanta where I helped open store 5709 in Locust Grove and became the Senior ASM. There I assisted my store manager in specific duties including but not limited to Managing payroll, P&L, cost inventory, markdowns, store scheduling and market conference calls.

In 2018 I was promoted to Asset protection Assistant Mgr. My team increased in apprehensions and reduced shrink. In 2019 apprehensions were up 136% in externals and 100% in internals. March 2019 Inventory reduced shrink by 300k from Ly 1.85% to 1.34%. We also excelled in our safety target for 2019, executed all accidents files completing the year at 97%. In 2020 March Inventory on a plan of 1.44% the store came in at .96% shrinking in $674k in dollars decreasing shrink by $260k.

  • Monitored security systems such as CCTV cameras, alarm systems, access control systems and other safety equipment.
  • Conducted investigations of shoplifting incidents and employee theft cases.
  • Developed strategies for reducing losses due to theft, fraud or vandalism.
  • Conducted audits of store inventory to detect any discrepancies in stock levels.
  • Performed regular inspections of stores to ensure adherence to company guidelines regarding safety practices.
  • Mitigated risk and oversaw internal and external shoplifter apprehension and detention.

In 2020 I was promoted to Store Lead in a 100 million dollar store. Where I managed under the store manager having over 300 associates.

In 2021 promoted to Store Manager in a 75 million dollar Supercenter. I manage close to 280 associates and 10 Salaried managers. Grew sales in 2023 to 81 millions dollars.

  • Conducted daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures and cash handling.
  • Monitored inventory levels and placed orders to restock shelves.
  • Developed strategies to maximize sales and profitability. In 2023 Sales was 105% and Profit was 105%
