“The Flood,” Sistories: Pleasure Paths (November 2024): 

  • Sistories is a Queer Black feminist/womanist organization that produces storytelling spaces for Southern Black women. “The Flood” is about a young woman who returns home to Alabama to re-bury her grandmother whose grave was unearthed during the storms brought on by Hurricane Katrina.
