- Providing the primary interface between the payload developers team and the Payload Operation Director (POD) while on console.
- Oversees the preparation and maintenance of all operations products required to prepare for increment real-time operations.
- Develops and submits Operations Change Requests (OCRs) and Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) to implement real-time changes to mission execution.
- Maintains cognizance of Payload Operation Data File (PODF) changes, Flight Rules, etc. as they apply to the increment.
- Reviews all mission planning products (such as On Orbit Summary (OOS) and weekly timelines among other execution products) and approves replan inputs.
- Liaison between payload developers and operations team consisting of the payload engineers, science support personnel, hardware engineers, and principal investigators.
- Monitors ISS science activities on console to ensure science objectives are completed, coordinates troubleshooting activities if necessary, and works replans if objectives are not completed.
