I have worked in the oil and gas industry for 16 years, 10 being in supervisor roles and the last 3 years as Site Supervisor for ISS/Leak Sealers at Chevron Cedar Bayou specifically. I am very familiar with the site, 10 tenets of operations, 9 life saving rules, permitting process, JSA process, LTT and other HSE procedures. I excel at multitasking/troubleshooting issues and solving them. My ability to adapt rapidly to new tasks has helped me greatly at my current employer to rise from a Heat Treat Technician to Site Supervisor within the first few years. I specifically pride myself on my safety record regarding personnel/myself and the delivery of a product for any of the service lines we provide, to meet or exceed expectations. I am listed in the DISA system, possess a TWIC card, operator's license (forklift/JLG), and a number of other safety credentials. I believe the numerous skills I have acquired in my years of working/leading in the oil and gas industry can bring value to the team.

  • Leak Sealing – Skills learned__ to make and take detailed drawings/measurements of equipment to design a custom enclosure for containing leaks on live lines.
  • Field Machining – Skills learned __ expanded my mechanical knowledge, learned to operate machinery and the importance of taking the time to set up the job correctly, eliminating rework.
  • Line Isolation/Hydro-testing – Skills learned__ to look at the system from a new perspective to identify process flows/block valves and how our crew could be affected in more ways than one working on an open line.
  • Bolting/Torquing – Skills learned__ to follow line spec procedures, identify stud size/amount/nut size for various flanges and ratings, communicate well with QC’s and other crafts involved.

  • Site Supervisor – Skills learned__ to communicate with office personnel, plan/walk out jobs, determine what equipment/manpower is needed, plan the next day’s job in advance and have equipment/manpower ready.
  • Oversee multiple crews on site, implement SSOP’s/safety procedures, ensure everyone is aware of any site-specific hazards.
