I have been employed in the oil and gas industry for the past 20 years, the last 14 being in Supervisory roles and the last 6 years in Site Management. I am great at multitasking/delegating work to competent employees/troubleshooting and problem-solving, and adapting rapidly to new tasks. These skills have helped me at my current employer, where I rose from a Heat Treating Technician to Site Manager within 3 years. I pride myself on the safety of my personnel and on delivering an exceptional product across all service lines we provide, meeting or exceeding deadlines. I have also been able to send every crew member on every job I’ve been responsible for home to their families, just as they came to earn for those families. I believe the skills I have acquired over my years of working/leading/managing in the oil and gas industry can add value to the team.

- To make and take detailed drawings/measurements of a piece of equipment to design a custom enclosure to contain leaks on live lines.
- Run major Turn Arounds/Outages in multiple facilities.
- Field Machining: expanded my mechanical knowledge, learning to operate machinery and the importance of taking the time to set up the job correctly to eliminate rework.
- Line Isolation/Hydrotesting: to look at the system from a different perspective to identify block valves and how we could be affected in more ways than one when working on an open line.
- Bolting/Torquing: to follow line spec procedures, determine stud size/amount/nut size for various flanges and ratings, communicate well with QC’s and other inspections.
- Valve Repair: common issues/fixes for frequently used valves, troubleshooting/expanding my mechanical knowledge.
- Site Management: to communicate with office personnel, plan out/walk jobs, determine what equipment/manpower is needed, plan the next day’s job in advance, and have equipment/manpower ready and lined out. Oversee multiple crews on site, implement SSOP’s and safety procedures, and ensure everyone is aware of any site-specific hazards.
