I believe in working with my team, to show them how I want it completed and to show them that I am there to help and work with them. I have been told numerous times I am the best boss my people have had. I'm understanding and accommodating, but hold my team responsible for their actions.
I have great knowledge in the pharmacy and in pharmacy operations. I have yet to complete my PTCB certification but that is on my to do list. Other managers have reached out to me for help with hiring, questions with operations and general help. I have helped at numerous covid clinics that Walgreens has sponsored and hiring job fairs. I love to interact with my customers and make a connection. In my current store, multiple customers have stated that they love coming here now and that it is clean and friendly. At my current store, I have had all the lighting in the store and parking lot fixed, all the lighting on the building fixed and cleaned up behind the store, again customers have noticed and said its never been that clean before. I had a bunch of trees removed that were falling over onto the neighbors driveway. This also opened up the whole side so its not such a hidden spot. I have worked with my vendors and have a great relationship with them.
My current store has just improved over the year I have been the manager. We went from an "exception" store-meaning we needed to improve, or they might have had to close it down-to one of the top stores in our district. We average about 543000 in sales a month, 280 from pharmacy and 262 from front end
