Answer incoming calls and schedule potential clients promptly. Go to their home at the scheduled time and allow the customer to show me where the area is that needs repairs or replacements. I then would take different measurements and come up with the square footage to put together an estimate.
While discussing with the costumers the different kinds of materials and which one best suits their needs. If they were ready, I’d schedule the job before I wrap up the estimate appointment. Typically I’d follow up with a phone call on day 2 if I’ve not heard from the potential client yet and see if they had any further questions for me. My job also consisted of going to town and country for supplies and overseeing the crews on job sites.
