- Volunteered at a sports physical event through my San Ysidro Health organization at Morse High School in Southeast San Diego, a community with a significant African-American population.

- In charge of checking 80 students in and ensured accurate documentation of their initial intake forms.

- This experience inspired me to advocate for health policies that address the evolving healthcare needs of communities as many families are unable to schedule routine physical exam appointments with their primary care physician before the start of their season due to long-wait times or lack of insurance.
