- Routinely administered EKGs and skin and mental health assessments on an average of 3-5 admitted patients entering adolescent, geriatric, or drug/alcohol rehabilitation units per shift.
- Directed 1-on-1 orientation shifts for new BHT hires demonstrating but not limited to patient chart documentation, assessment procedures, census reconciliation, environmental safety, patient room sweeps, intervention and group therapy progress notes.
- Conducted nightly vital signs and patient rounding (e.g., line-of-sight, Q-15, and Q-5) while providing therapeutic/emotional support, hygiene necessities, and routine documentation per shift.
- Collaborated with nurses, supervisors and BHTs to efficiently delegate patient room assignments, changes and/or discharges, lead group therapy sessions, bathe and dress geriatric and assistance-dependent patients.
- Maintained composure and patience in face of code 10 and code blue incidents, applying de-escalation techniques, positive patient support, and maintaining environmental safety.
