Over 20 years of experience in multiple fields of nursing including nephrology, oncology, surgical cardiothoracic intensive care unit, orthopedic, and medical-surgical. The majority of the area of clinical experience is with acute and chronic hemodialysis patients, where I have worked as staff nurse in the inpatient hospital setting, out patient hemodialysis units, leadership roles as charge nurse, and assistant nurse manager.
I pursued a Master's in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing in the Nurse Executive track in 2018. As I wish for personal growth and development in my nursing career, I wanted to use my expertise in the promotion of patient care and work for continuous improvement in healthcare as well. Hence, I completed a new chapter in my academic journey to become a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), In April 2022. Currently I work as a family nurse practitioner performing in home assessments for clients. I also work as a full time employee as Nephrology Nurse practitioner at Henry ford health system. On a daily basis I evaluate and manage Nephrology consults for in patients. Management of dialysis patients at Macomb regional dialysis center, taking care of ESRD patients on regular basis. Management of outpatient chronic disease , hypertension , renal transplant etc. FNP is not only my profession but also a vocation to touch many lives. I aim to leverage my professional experience and academic achievements to fulfill the healthcare system's mission, vision, and values.
