- National News, Featured on national news for helping an elderly woman whose electric wheelchair broke down on the side of a busy highway while it was storming. I helped her by pushing her chair about two miles to the nursing home where she resided. Without my knowledge, an employee of the nursing home took a photo of me and later was able to track me down and explain to me that she shared the photo with the local news, and eventually the story was picked up by national news outlets where they interviewed two of my colleagues and myself to speak on the event.
