I am a current college student at Cal Poly Humboldt who is driven and compassionate to volunteer with extensive experience in community service, notably with Home4Families Habitat for Humanity. I have also gained leadership skills at Walawi Girl Scouts Camp, showcasing strong teamwork, organizational efficiency, and being very detail oriented. I also always bring a positive attitude everywhere I go and a commitment to always trying my hardest.
For two years in a row I volunteered at Louisville Highschool's Annual Fundraising Gala where I checked in guests, took credit card information for the auction, served drinks to the guests, waited tables, and brought out prices for the auction winners.
I helped build houses for veterans who served in the military. I learned how to paint walls and caulk broken cracks. Habitat for Humanity works to provide affordable housing for veterans and gives the opportunity to low-income veterans to live in an affordable safe homes, which I was proud to be apart of.
I was a Camp Counselor at Camp Lakota for a three day weekend, where I was in charge of six girls in the age group of 8-10. I was their role model and learned leadership skills.
