I started working at Marmalade Cafe as a Hostess then quickly advanced to a Food Runner position within approximately 3 months

• As a Hostess I made reservations, phone orders, in person togo orders, organized large parties and events, and handled customer complaints and concerns
• As a Food Runner I prepare the plates by double checking if each order is correct, the presentation of the plates, and making sure each plate is complete
• I also assess and organize part of the inventory for the restaurant including necessary items for the food line and the paper order
• Also as a Food Runner at my restaurant I also assist the servers by helping tables with any extra needs, assisting managers by setting up and preparing for large parties and events, and I put together large catering orders for companies such as Foodja or EZCater.

I worked at Jersey Mike's for over 9 months; my position at the store was a crew member, slicer, and a shift lead in training

• As a shift lead in training, I frequently trained new employees, had more responsibilities within the store, and was relied on to run the store alongside other shift leads
• I worked with customers everyday, taking phone and in person orders, handling complaints, and helping with various needs concerning their food or other things around the store
• I sliced deli meats and vegetables, grilled meat, baked bread and cookies
• I also worked the register, restocked items, and did many cleaning tasks
