One important achievement to me is that I returned to the same youth girls rehabilitation facility that once helped me as a teenager, not just to volunteer, but to give meaning to the hardest chapters of my life. Having lived through instability, trauma, and recovery myself, I understand the fear, confusion, and isolation that people in crisis feel, from my own experience. What once felt like my lowest point became the foundation of my purpose. I chose to transform my pain into service by showing up for girls who are walking the same path I once did, offering them empathy, safety and hope.I aspire to use my past and experience to help others and that’s what I hope to continue doing.
