Assist students with getting off van, set up desk and work area for class, help students stay on task with assignments. Practice counting, writing, coloring, and tracing. Assist with bathroom needs and lunch duty.

Greet and pre-test patients with auto refractor, eye care tonometer and retinal photography. Retrieve medical history, make appointments, check in jobs, and help patients with adjustments on frames.

Pre-test patients using an auto refractor, non-contact tonometry, visual acuity, color vision screening, Stereopsis, as well as using retinal photography, O.C.T, visual field, lipiview,

inflammadry, taking blood pressure and pulse, inputting patient health information and pre-test results. Greeting and checking in patients, booking appointments, checking,

pulling and submitting authorizations to insurances, creating patient files, sending faxes, and answering and directing telephone phone calls.
