Accomplishments

  • Baltimore City Department of Public Works Employee of the Month- I was honored as the DPW employee of the month for November 2021 for my work on the City's Recycling Cart Program and Food Matters Baltimore. These programs worked to address inequities in access to recycling and composting in the City of Baltimore. As part of this work, every household was provided with a free recycling cart for the first time in City history. In addition, as part of Food Matters program, I managed the City's composting pilot program which offered free composting to residents through drop-off sites around the city., We also partnered with community gardens and organizations to offer composting and food reduction education in underserved communities.
