● Oversaw the transition to a new electronic medical record (EMR), Point and Click Solutions, in January 2023 as the primary super user and vendor liaison for all health and wellness services. With initial annual savings of $20K that will increase yearly through fixed pricing, the implementation additionally streamlined clinical workflow, decreased ancillary staff needs, and improved collaboration.
● Spearheaded two Request for Information searches—summer 2022 and spring 2023—resulting in protocols for coordination between a third-party telehealth vendor and GSU staff and services.
● Managed the rapid relocation of the main clinic in January 2023 necessitated by severe water intrusion damage with minimal impact to service delivery, preventing disruption to class registration.
● Orchestrated the renovation of a new main clinic location with an increased focus on virtual healthcare to better serve the healthcare needs of students post-COVID. The project began in spring 2023 and remains on schedule for estimated completion during the fourth quarter 2024.
● Collaborated with GSU leadership by serving as the medical subject matter expert regarding COVID policies and procedures by creating algorithms and FAQs; assisting with data analysis and reporting; and overseeing the COVID vaccination, public health outreach and contact investigation programs on all GSU campuses the for the entire university community of approximately 60,000 individuals.
● Selected to serve on University System of Georgia (USG) COVID Mobile Testing Request for Proposal (RFP) committee to search for and select an appropriate mobile COVID testing option(s) for USG in spring to summer 2022.
