Environmental Science Experience
I attended the National Student Leadership Conference Environmental Science and Sustainability program at Yale University from July 17th to the 25th of 2023.
- We studied conservation strategies and went to different lectures on conservation and ecosystems.
- We engaged in field research such as collecting water samples from streams, and studying these samples. As well as going out into cape may waters and studying the animals on the ocean floor.
- We worked in teams on environmental justice issues and were tasked with coming up with a solution to the influx of floods and storm damage due to rising sea levels.
