When it comes to providing patients with high-quality treatment, my role as a medical assistant allows me to help dermatologists and nurses. I carry out a variety of clinical and administrative responsibilities, including the collection of medical histories, the preparation of treatment rooms, the scheduling of appointments, and the maintenance of documentation. In addition to developing abilities in medical helping and patient communication, I have also learned skills in phone etiquette.
In addition, I am a student at Rutgers University in Newark, where I am pursuing a pre-health degree with a concentration in Psychology and a minor in Cognitive Neuroscience. In addition to having finished a number of courses and certifications that are associated with dentistry and medicine, I am interested in working in the medical and dental fields. Having the opportunity to observe a dentist in New Jersey and New York City has also provided me with more beneficial exposure and perspectives. A profession in the medical field is one I am keen to learn more about and pursue.
