Bandaloop is an upscale organic gourmet experience with a very elgant vibe that is also laidback. I started at Bandaloop as an emergency backup dishwasher and eventually began working in the off season from construction. I have worked almost every position there over the years filling in where I was needed whether it was front of house or on the open line where we were able to chat with guests throughout the night. Open nightly for dinner service Bandaloop was a bustling mainstay of Kennebunkport that was supported by a small, fast paced team that was quite successful.

Pedro's Cantina located in Lower Village Kennebunk, ME is a great place to go year round for a top tier margarita and some excellent mexican style dishes. During a period of part time hours at Bandaloop I was hired as a line cook in the kitchen and bounced between both restaurants. Being a little more laid back Pedros was a great place tow rok with a lot of fun energetic people. I eventually started taking barback and bartender postions as it was a great opportunity to learn both front and back of house and how they operate. I enjoy when restaurants work cohesively from front and back and I always will look for a solution between the two whenever possible.
