I am currently seeking a position that contributes in a significant way to the management of wildlife, their habitats, and the wise use of natural resources. Throughout a 20-year career as a wildlife biologist, I have worked on all aspects of wildlife issues and assisted the public in developing a deeper understanding of managing wildlife and wildlife habitats. I have years of experience presenting and educating the public contentious environmental and wildlife issues. I started with NYS DEC mapping, delineating, protecting, and surveying wetlands for Bog turtles, and now today participate in conducting several surveys for a variety of wildlife, managing wildlife populations, and am the land manager for over 15,000 acres of land. I am committed to implementing conservation practices and adhering to regulations to protect endangered areas and species.

  • Reviewed USFWS permit requirements for bird damage management with applicants to ensure compliance with regulations and permit requirements
  • Attended a two-day workshop focused on interview and messaging skills during difficult on-camera interviews by media and news organizations in 2008
  • Participated in the Oral Rabies Vaccination program, flying in piper cubs, helicopters and using hand baiting in NYC to control and contain the spread of rabies
  • Represented USDA at agency information, conferences, and trade shows, including the New York State Federation of Lakes Associations annual conferences, and the New York Conference of Mayors
