Stacy Saenz

Hi my name is Stacy Saenz, I'm 30 years old. I'm currently enrolled in the Child Development Program at Laredo College. In May 2025, I will be achieving my Associate's Degree in Applied Science. My short term goals for th future include in being a early childhood teacher after graduation. My long terms goals include in continuing my education and achieving my Bachelor's Degree and continue being a teacher. My love for working with young children began when I started working as a substitute teacher at Webb C.I.S.D. I've been subbing for about 3 years at all three campuses but have more work experience at Oilton Elementary School where my skills working with children in early childhood, Pre-K, and Kindergarten developed. Some responsibilities I take on in this job are :

• Manage classrooms effectively for grades K-12, ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of regular teachers
• Follow lesson plans and adapt instruction to meet students’ needs across various subjects and age groups.
• Provide one-on-one support to students as needed, maintaining a positive and productive learning environment.
• Assist students in achieving academic goals by reinforcing learning objectives and facilitating engaging educational activities
• Communicate with school staff and administration to address classroom needs and provide updates on student progress.
