Accomplishments

In February 2020 I completed the 1-week Teton Valley Avalanche Level 1 & Backcountry Ski training course with NOLS. Although I am still waiting to take additional courses in avalanche safety I have used the skills in the field numerous times to instill the knowledge gained. While attending Castleton University I completed a 1-semester course entitled Wilderness Canoe Tripping, in which we successfully learned basic canoeing and camping skills culminating in an overnight trip to the Adirondack High Peaks region. In my 3 jobs employed at Sugarbush resort I learned numerous skills relating to ski equipment, proper use of equipment, ski resort operations, and customer service. I further improved these skills in my 1.5+ years working as a bootfitter at Skirack.
