  • Responsibility for the operations and nursing care at the Bethesda North Hospital, a Free-Standing Emergency Department Bethesda Arrow Springs, a Critical Access Hospital Bethesda Butler, Bethesda Surgery Center, and a dotted line responsibility for a partner hospital McCullough Hyde Memorial Hospital. Directly responsible for 1100 FTEs / 410 beds, 7 Direct Reports and an annual operating budget of $300M.
  • • Led successful initial Magnet survey for Bethesda North Hospital and a successful re-designation in 2016. We are the second system in Ohio with a hospital system designation. Only 5% of all Magnet Hospitals have the system designation. System designation requires each facility to have supporting evidence for each of the five Magnet components. Standardized all nursing policies and procedures across organizations, developed evidence-based practice and research goals for North region to enhance nursing practice and nurtured a strong working relationship with peers throughout the system to accomplish the goal of Magnet designation.
  • • Facilitated and supported The Joint Commission Center of Excellence certifications for Joint Replacement, Geriatric Hip Fracture, Perinatal Care, Diabetes Care, and Stroke Care.
