Summary

Trustworthy Detention Officer with 20 years of experience. Talented at quickly deescalating conflicts and maintaining superior levels of levelheadedness. Intelligent and agile with remarkable security awareness. Organized and dependable candidate successful at managing multiple priorities with a positive attitude. Willingness to take on added responsibilities to meet team goals.

  • Over my 20 years working with MCSO, I participated in many parades and afterhours functions representing not only the office, but the division I was assigned. I helped the MASH Unit (MCSO's Animal Safe Haven) with the influx of dogs and cats that were rescued from hoarders and mills on a few occasions, as well as donating supplies to the unit. I took part in school supply drives, and the employee pantry which helped county employees during the pandemic. I also dressed up and delivered presents to children in the County Hospital Burn Unit and ER, as well as delivered presents to children at an underprivileged school in Phoenix.
  • I worked as a floor employee and worked up to store manager at Sally Beauty Supply before being employed with MCSO. I opened and closed the store daily while I was employed there. I was responsible for bank deposits, scheduling, inventory, ordering stock, and stock dropoffs from the delivery truck.

Although I have not directly worked in the field I am applying for, I was at my previous place of employment for 20 years, and am now onto the next phase of my life wanting to work and help in a different occupation.
